Men in tights

So, slightly changing the subject, what about men wearing tights? Is this appropriate?

I really think men are terrible in what they wear in public. Torn bluejeans, tight sweat pants, no shirts,,,,,disgusting. Even farmers in England used to wear a full suit when they worked the fields.......

I guess if they were in a ballet company it would be required and OK. If it was around the house for their personal pleasure, I think an obvious no.

On a serious note, though, dh's former barber in the States was told by his Dr to wear special support hose because he was on his feet all day everyday and was having problems with his legs.

I find it interesting that the threads about women in pants get all the attention and debate, but a thread about what men wear is practically ignored. The OP brings out a legitimate question and it's ironic that those so strongly against women in slacks have nothing to say on this thread. Do we have rules only for women but not for the men?

Personally speaking, I don't care if a man wears tights to keep warm. In fact, I would glady hand mine over so I would never have to wear them again!
