Michael Moore Slams Studio For "Publicity Stunt;" Screens "Jesus Camp Despite Objecti

Wow! it actually looks as if Michael Moore is standing up for the movie Jesus Camp...good for him.


Ignoring a request to remove the documentary "Jesus Camp" from its lineup,
Michael Moore's Traverse City (Mich.) Film Festival went ahead Friday with the first of two screenings of the film.
The documentary looks at a summer camp for born-again Christian children, and has won top jury awards at this year's Tribeca Film Festival and AFI SilverDocs Film Festival.

The biggest surprise of the whole incident, for many, was the fact that Moore and his festival would screen the movie over the objections of those who are responsible for it, an action unheard of in festival circles, but one perhaps bolstered by Moore's notoriety. Bowles added that he would not pursue legal action, despite his requests being ignored.


My commentary: I think all people should have access to this movie and the distributor is showing clear bias in wanting only right wing chruches to see it...that is bogus...why hide it...let the whole world see it. imho
