Minneapolis/St Paul under curfew again

The National Guard has been called in as rioting broke out in downtown Mpls.
A person suspected of commiting a homicide in a downtown parking lot was chased to the Nicollet Mall (outdoor street not open to cars) where he jumped out of his vehicle and shot himself, commiting suicide.
Word spread, blaming the police, and people started looting and burning the mall. Brit's Pub, a well known establishment to watch futbol was lit on fire. The owner says Mpls is no longer safe for the public.

What needs to happen to these rioters-looters-pillaging criminals is what is written in the bible in Romans about the governing authorities. The sword here is a termination weapon of capital punishment as God's minister of wrath on evil doers.

See when you have no quick punishing retribution, people have no fear and they just keep on doing evil acts.
If the authorities are not a terror to evil works, then there is no restraint of evil doers, if you want to argue with God on this go ahead and live in a lawless society and continue to suffer evil doers.

1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.

Way past time to apply the scriptural remedy as in Romans 13 on these evil doers.
Your argument is not with me but God Himself, He has established and told us how to govern, but the people are in rebellion against God and dont agree seeing they are sons of disobedience, as in lawless ones, finding fault with Him because we live in evil days, also Psalm 2 is good to read.

Here is Dr. Downey calling for the death penalty for unruly protesters and rioters. The "sword" as used in Romans 13 does not mean execution, it means the power of the state to mete out justice. It *could* mean execution, but need not mean it.

Besides, the government we live under, which you must necessarily agree we are to submit to according to Romans 13, does not have the death penalty for rioters and looters. Therefore, you are out of line calling for executions for these lawbreakers. And you are way out of line for saying the Bible says they should be executed.
