The Us Air Force has many pilots, including drone pilots in trailers, fighter pilots in F-16's, F-22's and F-35's. But the type of pilot most numerous in the USAF is Mobility Pilot.

These are the pilots that fly the refueling tankers, that in turn give our bombers world wide range. These the pilots that fly our cargo planes that supply our military needs, such as airlifting supplies in a C-17 to people ravaged by earthquake or storm. And of course, they bring our military, troops, tanks, and munitions, to where they are needed.

Scripture sometimes uses the example of being in the military to illustrate some aspect of serving Christ. We, born anew siblings of Christ, serve as "mobility pilots." But do we know what we are supposed to be doing?

Have we planned and prepared for our mission?

Have we ensured our and our crew readiness by engaging in specific training?

Have we studied our aircraft, preflighted it, and inspected its load and crew?

Will we complete our missions, and be welcomed home, as a faithful mobility pilot, having helped bring many to the promised land?

Vanology-speak for 'diligent soul-winners' adding to the rolls of heaven above. 'Slacking soul-winners' add to the rolls of hell below.

Once again this poster makes false vile claims. Did I say evangelism "adds" to the rolls of heaven or that evangelism helps reach the number of souls God has determined in a shorter time. See 2 Peter 3:12

It seems no matter what I post, this hate-monger will be allowed to poison the well, posting "Demonology."

Then, puh-leeze, clear up the double-speak:

    Van:
"Here is the heart-felt question of one believer -
...do 'slacking soul-winners' result in MORE people going to hell? ...

...do diligent soul-winners result in MORE people going to heaven?
The Exhaustive Determinist answer is no, God determined those going to heaven, and thus the rest not going to heaven before creation.

The Scriptural answer is yes, diligent evangelism "hastens the day" thus more people per time interval, so the end of the age occurs sooner, resulting in less people not going to heaven. See 2 Peter 3:12

    Two very different gospels...

Why would anyone reject that our mission, as Ambassadors of Christ is to help bring as many as possible to the promised land?

Do some believe praying for more laborers is pointless, except by being faithful to Christ's command. What if you believed God has predestined those to be saved, and nothing will alter that outcome? Would you vilify those that believe evangelism is essential, that God actually uses us as witnesses, and that by faithful service, we can hasten the day of His return?

Does God determine which individuals He saves? Yes. Romans 9:16

Does God use as His witnesses born anew believers? Yes

    2 Corinthians 5:20
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

We are to prepare the soil, plant and water and then act as laborers to help bring in His harvest.
