    Evening Folks,
I finally got the other computer up & running for my wife, but the monitor keeps resizing on a re-boot then i have to stretch it back out to fill the screen. I took off win98 ( which it didn't have this problem with) & installed 2000Pro for when we get ready to network. Other than the shrinking on boot everthing else seem to be fine. Could it be something with the 2000 drivers?? Or something in the CMOS/BIOS I've overlooked? Thanks!!!

Ahh Ha....wasn't the drivers, but it was the refresh rate! I changed it from 60 to 75 & problem solved!!

With a CRT, it is best to set the refresh rate as high as possible (and still retain good looks). Too low of a refresh rate will cause eyestrain and headaches.

With an LCD, just the opposite is true. It needs to be set and left at the default (usually 65). It is a completely different animal. Upping the refresh rate degrades image quality.
