More Equifax breach

    Despite offering free credit monitoring, Equifax has been hacked again when the person signing for free credit monitoring is taken to a page to download malware (a supposed flash upgrade). This put a virus on their Microsoft computer and may compromise their PC.

    If you want my 2 cents, I'd say don't panic and ride this out. Phishers like this are everywhere taking advantage of the fearful situation and a good credit company should alert you to a suspicious purchase -- we get text messages and that indeed caught someone trying to use our card to buy a coffee card.
