How sad. Some people want babies and lose them, others just have them and don't deserve them. I wonder if there really is another explanation for why this could have happened?

 

Sorry annsi, didn't mean to seem down in the dumps. It just chaps my hide that people do this. A girl in our church is staying with another family right now because her father abused her over the holidays. Why do people do this to their children, especially babies.

 

People that abuse and/or kill children should be sterilized and beaten, and, if the situation is severe, hanged.

Why is it that the worst of society oftentimes are the ones with the most children?

Life truly is a mystery sometimes.

And, the other woman in the story did the same to her child and received 5 years!!! Come on!!!:BangHead: Justice my foot!

 

Yes, the woman is mentally ill.

Yes, she should still be executed anyway.

All murderers and sex offenders should be executed.

This absolutely breaks my heart! As someone who is struggling to get pregnant it makes me so angry to hear of things like this. I just don't understand how someone could do something so cruel to a precious baby!

I would have to agree with Joseph's stand on punishment!

My are we quick to play judge, jury and executioner.

The police don't know what killed the baby, who killed the baby or whether there was any motive.

The baby died of high heat internal injuries with no external burns and from that the police suspect the involvement of a microwave and arrested the mother on suspicion of murder.

They have ruled out hyperthermia, open flame, hot water or heating pads.

It sounds like this case is far from closed and any guilt or innocence of the mother is far from determined.

 

I surely hope you are correct and it turns out being something else that killed this poor child. I'm having trouble understanding how anyone could do this to any child!

 

I am glad that God has blessed this preacher in Ireland who surely does not deserve His blessing.

This woman is another poor sinner, acting tragically like - well, another poor sinner.

This is sickening, and almost broght me to tears when I heard it. If this in fact is true, the "new" nature is glad this child is with our Lord, and prays for the mother's salvation, while the "old" nature would like to see her in an adult sized microwave set at 10% for 12 hours.

 

I wasn't suggesting that the mother didn't do this by microwave. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. Maybe it was a microwave, maybe it wasn't. Based on what is reported in the article, we don't know the answer to any of those questions.
