Through the "museum-go-round", right? My children cut their teeth (literally) on Fred's soft and sensitive manners. ;)

Far cry from Bart Simpson.

The show was actually his ministry area, and when he was ordained it was understood that the children who watched his show would be his parish. I think he certainly lived up to his calling. He managed to teach and encourage without being patronizing or silly.

I'll miss having new episodes, but I'm sure grateful for the ould ones.

I sure did like him. And I am sad that he is gone...and yes, he is a far cry from Bart Simpson.

One of my favorite episodes of Mr. Rogers was when he was talking about scary movies and telling the children when there is a scary movie on that they have the power to get up and turn it off and that it would mean they were the strongest of all and that they were growing. Wow!! he surely did have a way of getting a simple point across to kids.

Not to get too far off the subject, but I happened to really like the cat puppet on this show...does anyone know what the puppet's name is? Oh, and I liked the episode where he took us to a crayon-making factory.

-stumped by my own trivia question

P.S.: I also remember the episode where he opens the door and a cloud is resting on his doormat...."we call this 'fog,' boys and girls.."

I liked how Mr. Rogers talked to me. And always put on his shoes and sweater.

I loved Mr. Rogers, and grew up watching him. I raised my children with Mr. Rogers, and haven't seen him in years since they got too old to want to watch. I will miss him. I always like it when Mr. Rogrs went for a walk in the neighborhood and talked to the neighbors.

Good grief! I haven't seen this cool show in ages. I liked that blue owl and that cat that lived in that great big tree in make-believe land.

Sorry. Been to long to remember names...but I remember Mr. Rogers' cool sweaters that never got dirty even though he wore them over and over and over and over and...

I loved watching that show when I was little. My favorite character was Daniel, the lion puppet.
