Which do you prefer for your home finances? Ease of use? I'd love to hear your input.

    Quicken.

Dan Rutherford's review ( at http://www.kiplinger.com/personalfinance/features/archives/2005/08/quicken06.html ) says "there is no question Quicken remains a step ahead. During their demonstration, Quicken's spokespeople picked off Microsoft Money 2006's new features and explained how Quicken had come up with the same functions years or decades earlier."

PC Magazine ( http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1841722,00.asp ) gave it 5 out of 5. They say "So while the new Microsoft Money 2006 is still an excellent personal finance manager, Quicken supplants it as our Editors' Choice this time around."

PC World ( http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,122053,00.asp ) says "Unlike Microsoft's recently released 2006 editions of Money--a minor upgrade from the 2005 product--Quicken 2006 provides some compelling reasons to upgrade from older versions, or even to start using personal finance software"

C|Net ( http://reviews.cnet.com/Quicken_Premier_2006/4505-6405_7-31456687.html?tag=pdtl-list ) calls it "the best personal finance package on the planet".

I've been using Quicken for a few years now, and it just keeps getting better.

I used to be a big Quicken user. Now I'm a die hard MS Money user. Seems to be a little easier to use, but Quicken is a bit more powerful. MS Money tends to be a little less expensive. It really depends on how often you use the more advanced features. If you're a power user, Quicken might be the way to go. If you're a more casual user, then MS Money might be the better choice.

Personally I think they are both good programs, and agree with Johnv. It really comes down to personal preferance, or maybe just which one you start using.

I use both. I use Quicken for the churches finances and MS Money for personal. I started out, at first, using the two to see which I prefered. However, after about 10 years it doesn't seem to make any difference.
