Must One Affirm a Physical Bodily resurrection then?

Romans 8:23
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Paul is already spiritually alive. What else would he want here except that which he explicitly stated. We wait for the redemption of our bodies. There is no spiritual application of this statement without a firm physical meaning.

And cannot at all affirm just a spiritual one?
Luke 24:38-40, And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
