Must you love Jesus to get into heaven? … The answer is yes!

But, if you love Jesus, you will keep His commandments!

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.
And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him
and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him,
and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
He who does not love Me does not keep My words …” (John 14:23)

“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love …” (John 15:10)

“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar,
and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God
is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.” (1 John 2:3-5)
Please note …
• Eternal life is “knowing” both Father God and Jesus Christ (John 17:3).
The other side of the personal relationship, which leads to eternal life is:
• Jesus “knowing” the one who hears His voice and follows Him (John 10:27-28).

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.” (1 John 5:3)

“This is love, that we walk according to His commandments.” (2 John 1:6)

Obviously, not all BACs keep Jesus’ commandments …
so this is just another death blow to the OSAS doctrine! … B-O-R-I-N-G!

The answer would be "yes". However, there is no such thing as a born again Christian who does not love Jesus. I know you would like to be the supreme judge on just who you see as fit for salvation by your observations of everyone around you, but sorry, that position is already filled by Christ.

Let both the true believers and the false believers grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Actually the Scriptures teach that ONLY bac's keep His commands. It is a mark of being truly born again, NOT of being born again then lost later for not keeping them.

Your teachings are in serious error.

It looks like for the most part your ministry flourishes on offending others, and feeling like you've then been persecuted for the 'truth'. Self deception 101 for you and nothing more or less.

E7, doesn't it make more sense to warn people to examine themselves to be sure Jesus Christ is in them, as Paul said, rather than take this unbiblical angle that the born of God, who have Jesus Christ in them, can go to hell if they do not perform correctly?

Keep in mind I am not belittling him either, but I AM rejecting his false teachings.

His teachings dishonor the perfect redemption of Christ.

I've seen dozens of his type who preach this nonsense and believe they are preaching truth and being persecuted for this when in fact they are preaching error while thriving on the fact they are rejected. It is the ONLY thing or at least the MAJOR thing that drives them on. Frankly they are in fact false teachers and need to repent themselves from their error and of their discredit of the work of Christ.

BTW "preacher", I place NO confidence in the old doctrines of the old choiches up through the many centuries!
If they were so disastrously wrong about cessationism, they could be disastrously wrong about anything!

Exactly. Believers will WANT to do all that they can to please the Lord not for salvation but because of what He's done for them. Just as I want to please my husband not because I want to earn his love but because I love him and he loves me. If I don't please him, he's not going to dump me because he made a covenant before God to stay with me forever. I have assurance that we are together forever - and that's with just a human being!! God is SO much more faithful than that!

If we disobey one law of God, are we unsaved? Two? Maybe a percentage of something? Just what can we do to make God say "I'll remove your name that is graven on my hand. It doesn't matter that the Holy Spirit was give by me as a guarantee - I am breaking the covenant with you. Give me back the eternal life! You are no longer my child."?

To say that if you do not follow the commandments exactly you will lose your salvation is to call God a liar. I'm so not going to be standing next to anyone who might say that!

again, you misunderstand the scriptures, same way the Pharisees did!

Point of Apostle John is to write to us, to show us that IF we are really saved, than those things you keep posting shall follow!

John writting to refute Gnostic teaching creeping in that just soul counts, so get saved and live as the flesh demands, he wrote to refute that error!

the Holy spireitwas making sure that there was no "loose and fast living" among the saints, NOT trying to say that we ust get to sinless perfection in oorder to have assurance of salvation, as you seem to teach!
