My baby grew another leg!

    Well, my tarantula anyway. 7-legged Pete now has eight legs again since he molted the other day [​IMG]

    Yes, there is the beautiful rose-colored. And I have also had a 7-legged tarantula grow a leg after molting. It was quite a suprise!

    When I found my Pete running across the road, I did some research to find out how to care for him. I was amazed to find there were well over 200 documented species, some of them quite colorful!

    awe, he's really quite tame ;)

    My wife has a cousin who ran crying from the room when she found out there was a tarantula in there with her.

    I don't like spiders... although I know tarantula's are not the aggressive arachnids.

    I just don't have much use for 'em. lol

    ...and just to give you an idea of the size of this thing, that red thing full of water is the neighbor kid's swimming pool.

    I'd rather it be the size of a swimming pool... then I would at least know where not to be. It's the smaller ones that I can't see I fear. [​IMG]
