My Daddy

    My dad is in the hospital passing blood through his stool. He has done this periodically through the years because of internal hemorrhoids. Mom told me tonight that the amounts of blood he is passing with each bowel movement is way more than what she thought would be from hemorrhoids. Mom told me that dad told her a month ago that he thought he had cancer because the back pain he was having was more than from his arthritis and herniated disk damage he has suffered with over the years. He is to have a colonoscopy done and this will let us know more about what is going on. Please lift my dad(Willis Fletcher) up in prayer to God, who can heal him!!

    I prayed for him this morning.

    From personal experience I do know that it is possible to lose a lot of blood from that condition. I didn't deal with is for a while, and by the time I got it sorted my blood count was dangerously low.

    Willis, I prayed for your dad and will continue to do so. My dad is 87 and just had an operation, much less serious than it may possibly be with your father.But still, surgery at 87?!

    May you and your family be comforted at this time.

    Dad is home now and doing fine. It turned out that he had polyps in his colon that was causing the bleeding, and not colon cancer! PRAISE THE LORD!! I talked with him on my cell phone on the way to work this evening, and he is doing wonderfully!! God can, and does answer prayers! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers!!! I love you ALL!!
