This flooding in the midwest is really terrible. The images are getting to be so much like New Orleans. So far not the same level of deaths...thank you God...but who knows what could happen if it keeps going higher.

All we can do is pray. Thank God He hears us when we pray.

    RevMitchell...

    Oh.

    So....its their fault?

They shouldnt have been so stupid as to live near a river?

I hope I am mistunderstanding what you are saying. If not, you must be one of the least compassionate people I've ever come across.

    What!?

Anyway you compared this to Katrina. Those folks in New Orleans did little to help themselves knowing the hurricane was on its way to include and especially the state officials who failed the most and miserably.

Apparently folks in other areas are a little more proactive.

    Rev Mitchell,,

OK, I can sort of see what you were getting at now.

But when I see what I see on these TV news films, the LAST thing that concerns me is what the government should or shouldnt be doing, what decisions people should or should not have made in the past, etc. There will be time for that much later.

The ONLY thing that concerns me right now is the living hell that all these human beings are going through, and praying for them.

I haven't really seen any signs of the first responders, state and local governments and officials, failing to respond as they did during Katrina.

    Yet.

Just wait. The two boogie men, Bush and Global Warming, will be blamed soon enough.
