My Mother...

    After 45 days of being in the hospital and the nursing home for recovery, I got to bring my mother home last night.

    She has some doctor's appointments, home health appointments, and a walker and wheelchair are being delivered today. She's not 100%, but is a far cry from where she was.

    Continue to pray for her, she has come a long way thanks to the LORD and prayers of those who love her. Yet, she has a ways to go to gain a full recovery.

    Covid is RAMPANT again here is Louisiana. And it's hitting a lot of younger people - 25-45.

    Very similar to what my wife and I have been dealing with her mother, >3 weeks hospital, rehab, back home (her dachshund back home too thank God), but she's weak compared to what she was.

    Did your Mom have covid?

    Yes, she also had a UTI and that's REALLY bad on old people because they don't know they have it until it's almost too late.

    She wasn't tested for Covid right away. It really did a number on her.
