So is the 144 thousand the exact number of who will be saved?

This sounds more like Jahovah Witness teachings than SDA's if I remember correctly.



I think I have some reading to do....Sorry to get off subject here for a second

Assuming a purely futurist eschatology (which is silly, but to each their own, I guess), the 144,000 are of Jewish heritage, are marked "mid-trib," and have a specific role to play. They are not alone in salvation; Revelation never states this.

A better question might be is why did you resurrect an old thread that ended in the year 2006 to discuss now? The thread is two years old. You could have just started another thread on the same subject if you were interested in this topic.
