I have said it before, President Trump is hoping the Democrats hold an impeachment vote in the House. Even if impeachment passes the House, it is D.O.A. in the Senate. Trump will hang the impeachment proceedings around the Democrats neck in the 2020 election cycle. I do not care if you are a Pro-Trumper or Never-Trumper, there is no standing for such a vote in the House. Holding a vote will simply galvanize Trump's 2016 base and sway independents to his side. It may even result in a three-way sweep with the House, Senate, and Presidency all in GOP control. Considering how inept the GOP is they will blow the opportunity but it having control of all three is a distinct possibility.

I think if the GOP does get all three, the GoP will work with Trump better than before. Trump no longer has the Mueller investigation hanging over him. Back when there was a question if he would make it, the GoP was hedging their bets, but I have seen several in teh GoP start backing Trump now that he no longer looks like a liability. He has been vindicated, as has his supporters who stood by him the whole time.

There is evidence that he didn't even do the report.
And this raises the question should this not also be investigated.....if he didn't do the interviews AND he didn't even do the report than one who wasn't legally entrusted to be the captain of the ship did everything. Why couldn't all who were charged demand that their charges be considered null and void?

Agreed - the supposition being that President Trump can wake up the sleepy eyed Republicans TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

We keep hearing about the wrath of Barr but all we have heard from him are a few mouse squeaks with a scurrying back into his mouse hole like we got from Sessions.

Personally I would love to have to owe Barr an apology but I think President Trump will once again have to fight alone.

The Dems want blood and a pound of flesh. The want to publish the redacted parts of the Mueller Report knowing that some undercover government employees will be murdered because of it. They want absolute power and no more Bill of Rights.
