    The New Testament gives many names and titles to our Lord, Jesus the Christ. I have the nickname "Bob" and those who get to know me I allow to use that special name.

    I have a pet name that my wife calls me. NOT necessary to tell you! And church members call me "pastor" or "doctor Bob".

    Which one of JESUS SPECIAL NAMES/TITLES from the New Testament is special to you?

    I'LL START:

    "I am the Alpha and Omega" - the A-to-Z, all encompassing, all supplying, the source, the end, veritas caput (true head), my all in all . . .

    This is great Dr. B.
    My favorite is "the door".
    My children (grown and married) sing a song written by Gary Duty about this name. It is one of the most significantly scriptural and astoundingly brilliant songs I have ever heard. I may post some of the words for you if there is not infringement problems.

    How about; "rock of offence" (Rom. 9: 33). Because many are offended by the Gospel - exactly as Rom. 9: 33 and 1 Pet. 2: 8 say they would be. latterrain77
