I have a couple of friends who are looking for churches to serve God at. What are the best ways I can recommend them to get their resumes in front of some churches who are without Pastors?

Thanks in advance for your help.

other pastors are constantly getting news about churches looking for a pastor. Id first recommend they go to their own pastor and ask him if he has any suggestions.

My second recommendation would be for them to start their own church in an area which doesn't have a gospel-preaching church. There are many areas of our country where this is happening, and too often we as gospel-preachers are looking for already-established churches when perhaps we ought to look at starting our own foundation.

And trust me, Ranchester may not be at the end of the world, but you can see it from there!

BTW, often evangelists or college/seminaries know of vacant pulpits where the pastor might fit in. It is not more "spiritual" to just sit and wait for God to open a door and not to mail our resumes, contact state leaders, pastors, etc.

God expects us to live without scheming but not to be stupid and call it "Spiritual"!!

Networking with area pastors and association staffers is a good way too.
