    I am requesting any reliable websites for purchasing range-specific vocal music. I have a hard time finding alto/low voice solos with/without accompaniment tapes.

    Could you give us an example of what you're looking for? Sheet music for "The Lord's Prayer?" or what?

    Well, solo special music....either that I can accompany myself on piano with, or a soundtrack to sing with, but I like the sheet music with the soundtrack types.

    I sing solos in church every so often, and I would like a site to buy new or used solo sheet music.

    Joshua, your mail box is full, I tried to reply...

    I do any sort of music, old or contemporary. I love slower songs. I majored in vocal music at Univ of Ariz, and I sing tenore in the church choir to bolster the section.

    Speaking as another alto, that would be great to know!!!!

    The world revolves too much around sopranos and tenors!

    What I usually do is check out the ranges on the accompaniment tracks, or buy those that are by singers known to have lower ranges - Amy Grant, sometimes Jaci Velasquez, Kathy Tricolli. But I know of no publisher that will index them foryou like that.

    Although some producers of tracks do provide hi/med/low on the same disk.

    Been looking ladies, and apparantly, the database that I had while on staff at a Christian bookstore is no longer online. I can't find out what happened to it, either. I'm pretty sure it's an abandoned idea, although for a while it was the greatest resource for sheet music/accompaniment tracks I knew of. Sorry I can't be more help. I'll keep looking.

    Thanks Joseph... You beat me to the punch. We used to use Pepper for our choral stuff in high school, and now we can get sheet music online from them too! How cool!
