Seems this is a certianly a topic of great interest to most people.
So why do we fail to heed what we know to be the right thing for health and wellness, taking care of our bodies?
Eating properly, some sort of excerise(whatever we each are capable of).*
Hey, how about those cheerios?

* I know this forum is also about health problems, illnesses, etc.

Seriously, my wife IS a natural health (alternative) doctor and I work 20 hours a week in her Clinic and have learned a tad that might help someone!!

Just found this by random accident by searching "new posts". There should be an announcement made at the top of the page there is a new health forum.

I am the mod of this forum and I just found out about it by accident a few minutes ago. LOL

I know there was a lot of interest in starting it. I don't think anyone knows it's here. :/

I just found the forum, and I must say that I am pleased to see others interested in taking care of their temples. I hope to see many interesting posts in this forum and hope to contribute a little as well.

I hadn't seen this forum before, though it is one I may likely have some use for. But right now, reading above the comment, "taking care of their temples"... every time I see that I am inclined to think about the NT clause, "your body is the temple of the Lord," and note that "your" is plural; which then would mean it means the assembly, not one's personal physical body. Is there a verse of scripture which does, in fact, say that about one person's physical body? (Regardless, this does not diminish the importance of taking care of oneself.)

Hmm... Now this here ain't a debate forum and I am just coming back to the board after being turned off by such tripe, however...:BangHead:

The simple context of the verse (see vs18) would teach that it is talking about a man's "own body" and not the assembly. I suppose spiritual application could be made to the assembly; however, I believe the practical application should rest on the individual. "Your" being plural only proves it is speaking to everyone about their individual body (singular). And since the Holy Spirit knows the diference between body and assembly, I am sure that if he had intended it to say assembly, he would have said so.

"Now y'all come over and we'll go string up a durn scholar". I am speaking to a plurality of people, yet expecting each individual to take action.;)
