Doesn't the RCC claim that it is God who chooses the Pope? No sooner did this Pope announce he was quiting and the bishops began chattering that the next Pope should come from the Africa region, I think it was. I guess they are starting their prayers already telling God what region they want their Pope to be from.

I heard today on the news there might be a law suit coming forth against a list of Catholic priest that abused some young boys several years ago. The Pope as i understand it knew of this list and speculation is, that is the reason he is stepping down. I wonder if his name is on the list.

Would any of the two [or three?] popes since internet came on the scene have posted [secretly of course] on discussion forums? I wonder especially about the last pope most recently????
