New job

Hi all, am starting a new job tomorrow. I have to catch a bus quite early, so please pray that I get there on time, and that my first day runs smoothly.

I did it make it on time, got the earliest realistically possible bus and was there with about half an hour to spare. It went quite well, we are doing a training programme so was stuck in the office all day but the actual job will involve doing surveys in different places.

We did a lot of walking around Crewe today but it was good to get out of the office! (It's seems bigger than you think when you're walking round it.)

A funny story from today. I only had ten pounds for the bus as I didn't have enough for a return and the driver in the morning let me off as he didn't have enough change. When I was coming back in the afternoon I tried to buy a single ticket with the ten pound note and the bus driver (who was Polish and didn't speak great English) said pay me at the end. I later remembered I still had about 3 pounds which was more than enough for a single ticket so I was able to pay when I got off, and he still gave me the ticket even though I was getting off, much to the bemusement of the people getting on.

 

It's going quite well but I have a few problems. Tending to get tired, and slightly worried because three or four of the other lads seem quite anti-Christian.
