Is she LDS? What are the odds of this happening? A zillion to one? If I was a 6 Day Creationist I might conclude that it is an obvious sign from God. Maybe Jos. Smith was right.

My Point? This proposed conclusion is a common misuse of probability and statistics that is the norm on most every "religious" and political forum.

How so? Is not birth determined by God?

Eccles. 3:1 ¶ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die;

Job 7:1 ¶ Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?

Job 14:5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;

Hence, the birth of three children on three leap years is another proof for the existence of God!

The birth of any baby is a miracle of God. While this type of thing is very rare and will be fun for the family to talk about and celebrate for many years to come, they do have two other children not born on Leap Day and I hope that they will make a big to-do over their birthdays also and make them feel just as special.

Another thing. They did plan to conceive on a certain date hoping to give birth on February 29th and while their inital due dates for babies #2 and #3 were not on the 29th, they did go over and wait to be induced on the 29th.

Isn't that intentionally stacking the deck and isn't that more of a calculated thing and a doctor thing and not a God thing?

I don't see the evidence of God because parents carefully calculated to have the baby on a certain date and doctors purposefully induced on that same date. I see evidence of Him in spite of it. New born babies - no matter what their birthday - now that's a miracle.

God stacked the deck by inventing evolution. thus we have a good example for deck stacking.
