New Music to Hymns

    Some great new melodies to these great hymns. Some are not, but that's true of some of the older versions too...

    Out of curiousity, have you heard the last disc by Jars of Clay? If so, what did you think of their versions of older hymns?

    I haven't heard the latest from Jars of Clay. I stopped following their music several years ago, for one reason or another. The last thing I heard from them was on a compilation worship project, their cover of "Be Thou My Vision," and I was not impressed. But that's personal opinion, and not a question of the inherent value of the hymn or the chance for that hymn to get into the hands of someone who bought it because it's on a Jars of Clay CD. I'm thankful they have a ministry to some Christians, I just don't particularly like the majority of their music.
