The not so new (1999, 2010 the 3rd edition) Wilton Translation (WTNT) by Clyde C. Wilton has sought to provide an accurate translation of the New Testament from Greek into English. He is (retired) Pastor Emeritus of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas. According to one internet source, he graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1948, and that he has been teaching Greek and Hebrew to students for more than 40 years. It seems he also wrote a book entitled Understanding the Language of the New Testament: A Beginner's Guide to Koine Greek.

The WTNT is the result of many years of his study, and although this work has as its text the Greek New Testament (UBS, 3rd Edition), he has drawn from a wide variety of sources to make his translation as accurate as possible to original text (from PR Web, January 2013) --

With so many different translations of the Bible in circulation today, I decided it was time for me to figure out what it said, word for word. To be able to accurately evaluate the teachings, we must know exactly what the text was meant to say. The Wilton Translation of The New Testament speaks to the issues we face today using modern language to interpret the teachings.

    Sample of 1 Corinthians 13:8-10 (WTNT) --
Love never falls in ruins; but whether prophecies, they will be abolished; or tongues, they will cease; or knowledge, it will be superseded. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when the perfect comes, the imperfect will be superseded
