Do you have a picture, or a link to these NYT front pages that are not linked to a third party website?

Anyone knows that now-a-days one can do wonders with PhotoShop and the likes.

It was a link to a German propaganda poster with a quote from Himmler.

Meaning people are motivated more by their emotions than brains.

    Try this link.

Who was the first to report the tracking of "terrorist" bank transactions?

    http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010924-1.html

The real story here is that the Total Information Awareness system was never shut down as we were told but was rather just camoflaged (hiden from the public) by rerouting it and funding it through different channels.

We're now in the time when many people believe blowing the whistle on criminal activity in government is "disloyal."

Saddam can take some satisfaction in that small victory, I suppose. He lost the war, but our leaders now share many of his values.

"You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on." G. W. Bush

At the moment it looks to be about 30% or so can be fooled all the time. Not a majority but a pretty decent base to work with.

Like our leaders and corporate talking heads keep telling us, "the world changed on 911" and our only hope for survival is to exchange our liberty for their security.

Remember, it's only a matter of coincidence, incompetence or executive privilege that they become more insulated from public inquiry and investigation while we become more open to government inquiry and investigation.
