Hi, my name is Richard. I am new here, just found you guys.

The Lord recently set me free from spiritual darkness. I am now trying to learn the doctrines as taught by God's Word, not by a denomination, or by men.

I am not Baptist. Is it okay for me to be on this board if I don't claim to be Baptist? I don't really know what I am. The pastor of the church I am attending is Reformed Baptist.

I have learned God is Soveriegn (Pink.) And that He has Grace Abounding (Bunyan.) Now I am trying to determine what is The Cost of Discipleship (Bonhoffer.)

I have read these just the last few weeks.

BTW, I am 41. I never heard of Justification by Grace until last year.

Christ is my all in all. I am complete in him.

Hello Richard!

A great BIG welcome to the BB from the great state of Illinois!

Come on down to the COMMON GROUND COFFEE HOUSE in "All Other Discussions", where as Christians, we are all on common ground...

It is a great place to kick back, relax, and get to know each other. And we have FREE food and beverages!

Why don't you post your question in the General Baptist Forum? I believe you'll get more responses there. This forum is just so everyone can welcome you and make you feel at home.

Your profile says 'Reformed Baptist' and you attend a Baptist church. That spells B A P T I S T to me. :)

Blessings,
§ue
