PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS

MAY 17, 2013

THE WHITE HOUSE, WASHINGTON, D.C.

Good evening, my fellow Americans. In the life of a country, there are few times as monumental as now and few announcements as life-changing as the one I'm about to make. I ask everyone to pay close attention to what I'm about to say.

As a child growing up in Kenya, I learned the value of honesty. Nothing reveals a man's character more than his willingness to tell the truth even when it is tough. To my own discredit, I have often failed to live up to my own standard in this area. One place where I have fallen short is the area of religion.

I am here to tell you all that I have secretly been a Muslim all my life. Recently, I have decided to re-connect with my Islamic faith. The United States will henceforth be a Muslim state. This will mean many changes in the way we live our lives.

All schools which receive Federal funding will be required to, in the next five years, transition to radical Islamic madrasas. I have also issued an executive order suspending the First Amendment. It will be mandatory for all Americans to convert to Islam. For those who don't comply, FEMA is activating their secret network of concentration camps all across the country. To help the process along, we will be importing two million lesbian Muslims who will have taxpayer funded abortions. They will then tour the country demonstrating proper burqua wear.

I understand this news comes as a shock to many people and I recognize the disruption it causes in people's lives. However, it is what we must do as a nation. Thank you all for listening. May Allah bless you and may Allah bless the United States of America.

Or we could have the Mormon doing the same thing.

That's why we are to stay focused on God's Commission no matter what.

A mormon saying that he was born in Kenya? Or supporting lesbians and abortion... I am pretty sure that Paul wrote this with his tongue firmly in his cheek.

Yep, that's what we'll get when Obama is unfettered with the need to get re-elected.

Obama is the most arrogant president in my lifetime and that goes back to FDR. His arrogance if he is elected again is beyond imagination. He has not been shy about ignoring duly passed laws in his first term. What will he do in a second term?

Wouldn't surprise me. Wondered why Michelle wasn't at the Alfred Smith memorial dinner since she was in NY at the time. Read somewhere that muslim wives are not permitted to attend Christian dinners. Don't know if it is true or not, but Mrs. Romney was there, so I thought it was rather wierd.....then there is that obama wedding ring issue, too.....

My memories of presidents go back to Ike.

If he's unfettered by the restraint of having to run for another term in office, I shudder at the thoughts of what he'll do over 4 more years. While the OP was written tongue in cheek, there's a lot of truth behind those words. He has the framework already in place to make end-runs around Congress. One more appointment to the Supreme Court may make that null and void with regards to limiting the power of the Executive office.

Who knows what's already lying in wait in those massive bills that have already been passed. Remember, according to NP, we need to pass it to know what's in it.

At least with Romney in the White House, he'll be constrained for the 1st four years, if he plans to run for a 2nd.

A couple of thoughts. Second terms of Presidents are not good usually. Think of Nixon, Johnson after his first election following finishing Kennedy's term, Clinton's impeachment, Reagan with Iran-Contra, and Bush with the economic collapse.

Another thought is, if Romney wins, and reverts to his liberal MA ways, he will be a one term President, and may not get the nomination.

Same question here.

Did he give Obama the election to pull a few more federal dollars into his state?

I personally think what the governor did was a class act that rose far above petty politics. It makes me want to like him.

Saying that NJ was a safe Obama state anyway.

You still support him? Even with his gushing support of the president?

Considering that Obama snubbed sending aid to Louisiana when asked by Bobby Jindal because Obama doesn't play well with Republicans...

Chris Christy is simply making the smart move.

And it's great that Obama is actually doing his job with the hurricane...

Too bad he was awol with the economy for the last four years.
