Maybe you folks can help me out. I'd love to be able to read newspapers from the last hundred years or so on the net. All I can find are some 19th century papers, and millions of obituary sites. Anybody know of any papers (doesn't matter which ones) that have good archives for browsing?

Don't know of any online; the cost of converting the data to digital format is prohibitive.

However, a good university library usually has some on microfilm or microfiche. When I was in college, I did a paper on newspaper coverage of the Civil War and read about four years of The New York Times on 'fiche.
