This could potentially be a great qb class this year, me thinks. Many new names are emerging. John Mateer and Fernando Mendoza to name a few. Mendoza could be the first pick when it's all said and done. I think Manning stays in school, but who knows.

Top 2026 quarterback prospects
  • Garrett Nussmeier (LSU): A popular early favorite, Nussmeier has impressed with his arm talent, anticipation, and pocket presence. After sitting behind Jayden Daniels, he has taken the helm as a leading Heisman candidate.

  • LaNorris Sellers (South Carolina): Sellers is an elite athlete at 6-foot-3, 242 pounds, and has one of the strongest arms in the class. As he continues to grow as a passer, his high-end physical traits could make him a top-10 pick.

  • Drew Allar (Penn State): With prototypical size and a powerful arm, Allar has the physical tools NFL teams covet. Though he has faced questions about his consistency, analysts expect him to thrive with more talent around him this season.

  • Arch Manning (Texas): The nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, Arch is one of the most-hyped prospects in recent memory. While his Week 1 performance was disappointing, his talent is undeniable, and he has plenty of time to live up to his potential.

  • John Mateer (Oklahoma): After a stellar transfer season at Oklahoma, Mateer is rising fast on draft boards. His arm talent and mobility were on full display in an impressive Week 2 performance against Michigan.

  • Cade Klubnik (Clemson): Klubnik has demonstrated solid accuracy, arm strength, and mobility. While not considered elite in any one area, he is a well-rounded prospect who has received high praise from opposing coaches.

  • Fernando Mendoza (Indiana): The former Cal transfer is the new early Heisman front-runner after a dynamic start to the 2025 season. He is a strong pocket passer with mobility and the type of size scouts look for.

  • Taylen Green (Arkansas): A dual-threat transfer from Boise State, Green has impressed with his athleticism and ability to create plays. At 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, his skillset is intriguing to pro evaluators.
Also the QB from Oregon, Dante Moore is starting to get some press.
