Below is a story of a three year old child named Noah. When I read this article it cut me clear to the heart. I felt so bad. :tear:
Couple ate pizza and enjoyed a movie while Noah slowly died, police said.
The 3-year-old boy struggled to breathe. In hours, he'd die from his injuries.
Meanwhile, young Noah Fake's abusers — his mother and her boyfriend — ate pizza and watched a movie as the boy clung to life, Orange County investigators said Thursday.
The child's mother, Robin Greinke, 26, and her boyfriend, Steven Neil, 33, were arrested Thursday afternoon and booked on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and child neglect.
Investigators say the couple hit Noah savagely, causing fatal injuries. Why?
"He peed his pants," homicide Detective Chris Dillon said. "He urinated [in] his pants, and on top of a little alcohol use by both of them and the possibility of some pills, they ended up beating [Noah] to death."
A report that a child had stopped breathing sent Orange County Fire Rescue and deputies responded to the Abaco Key Apartments on Mystic Circle around 5 a.m. Tuesday. Paramedics administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Noah before rushing him to Dr. Phillips Hospital. He later died.
Initial information suggested Noah might have had meningitis — an infection — but an autopsy revealed foul play in his death, detectives said. The Orange-Osceola County Medical Examiner's office determined the boy died of blunt force trauma to the head.
When confronted with the results of the autopsy, Greinke confessed to attacking her son, investigators said.
According to Dillon, the mother said she and her boyfriend of more than a year "tossed him, spanked him and punched him" on Monday night, leaving the boy struggling to breathe.
Greinke told investigators she was concerned, but her boyfriend convinced her to wait until the morning to seek treatment for the child, Dillon said. In the meantime, investigators say the couple went about their night, enjoying a movie and some pizza.
Confronted by investigators about the boy's death, "she was very apologetic, but obviously it's too late now, because he's gone," Dillon said. He said Neil also made incriminating statements to detectives.
A spokeswoman for the Florida Department of children and families said the couple had no history with the department, but were visiting Florida from Illinois at the time of the boy's death. They lived previously in West Palm Beach.
Officials said Noah was the only child at the home. Dillon said Neil was not the boy's father, but he has a child about the same age with another woman.
Records show his former wife sought an injunction against him in 2008 in Palm Beach County, citing repeated domestic violence. The couple divorced a year later. He has also faced DUI charges in Illinois.
After watching the pair being loaded into separate transport vehicles bound for the Orange County Jail on Thursday night, Dillon said he's never seen a case like this.
"They're going to jail," he said, "and hopefully they won't ever get out."

The only good thing about this is that Noah is now with our Lord and is in total peace.
Jonah was called by the Lord to go to Nineveh to prophesy against it "for their great wickedness is come up before me". You know the story. Jonah fled as he was terrified of those people in that wicked city because of their viciousness. Once his feet hit the beach after the third day he headed straightway to Nineveh subsequently causing an entire nation to turn to the Lord.
I can think back to my days as a youth and never had a fear of terror such as kids face today. It must be tough to be a kid now. A little child turns to their parents for love and protection and all too often it's not there.
My God! My God! What has this nation turned into? Even so come Lord Jesus. Where is that someone to stand in the gap filled with the Power of the Lord? May God have mercy on this nation.
