Noah's flood began on February 17th in Noah's 600th year. Gen 7:11 The Ark left the ground after 40 days and nights of rain. Gen 7:17 On the 150th day after the flood began, the Ark was above the mountains Gen 7:20-24 on Adam's Earth.

On the SAME 150th day AFTER the flood began, the Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat on planet Earth. Gen 8:4 Both of the statements are True. Can anyone explain in simple terms HOW this can be True Scripturally? It's really simple and reveals God's superior intelligence which is hidden in Genesis.

Gen 7:24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

Are you serious? Did you make any effort to figure out the answer, like by actually reading the Bible? Both Gen 7:24 and Gen 8:4 both agree that the flood ended at 150 days. Are you thinking that Gen 7:24 teaches that the ark didn't land until at least day 151? It doesn't say that

The flood began 2/17 and 150 days/5 months later, on 7/17 the Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat in Lake Van, Turkey. Genesis 8:4 Do you think that God wiped away 30k feet of water in the same day? Or did Adam's small firmament sink into the Lake, releasing the 450 ft Ark, safely into the Lake? Noah stayed in the Ark for another 5 months Gen 8:13 until the ground was dry and Noah stayed in the Ark for another 2 months before he came out when God commanded him to. Gen 8:14 Can you explain how Noah could have lived in the Ark, on top of Mt Ararat which is snow covered year round?

Adam's firmament, which God called Heaven, was totally and completely destroyed in the flood. ll Peter 3:6 Adam's Earth was "clean dissolved" Isaiah 24:19 in the Lake, and the bottom of Adam's miles wide firmament is STILL in the Lake under 11k years of volcanic debris. It's the most valuable Treasure on the Earth since it is proof of life from another world. Some say that Kenneth Copeland has close to a Billion dollars. He should take some of that money and find this empirical evidence of God, and dispel the falsehoods of those who don't believe the flood story. Amen?

    Well, uhh, yeah...

People read INTO Scriptures what they want to see.
The idea of "Adam's earth" and "planet earth" was not in any passage BenWest offered.
The passages about Noah's flood were not meant to be picked apart for scientific purposes.

Adam's firmament, which God called Heaven was made on the 2nd Day. Genesis 1:8 It's the 1st Heaven/Universe
The present 2nd Heaven and other HeavenS (plural) were made on the 3rd Day, the SAME Day Adam's Earth was made. Gen 2:4 ¶ These are the generations of the heavenS and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavenS,

With your understanding, tell us what you think about the 3rd Heaven of 2 Corinthians 12:2.

Amen, EXCEPT for the people with the "increased knowledge" of the last days before Jesus returns. Daniel 12:4 God is currently "pouring out" His Spirit, which is the Spirit of Truth, upon ALL flesh. Joe 2:28 Act 2:17 God is doing this through the discoveries of Science in the last days which AGREE with the hidden scientific facts He put in Genesis. Want Scriptural proof which agrees with current discoveries of science, history, genetics and math? I have many which prove that ONLY God could have Authored Genesis 3k years ago. Here is the easiest one to comprehend.

    5. Genesis 1:1 correctly shows that Water was not created and Science agrees. Amen?

Here's the simple explanation which is irrefutably Truth.

BOTH events happened at the same time. As Adam's small firmament sank into Lake Van, Turkey 11k years ago, it released the 450 ft long Ark into the Lake. Adam's firmament, in which Adam's miles wide FLAT Earth was contained, sank as it filled with water after 40 days and nights of rain. As the solid firmament went to the bottom of the Lake, the Ark rested upon the largest Lake in the area. Genesis 1:8 on the 150th day after flood began, which "clean dissolved" Adam's small flat Earth Isaiah 24:19 was totally destroyed 2 Peter 3:6 while the present world continued, 2 Peter 3:7 undisturbed by the arrival of the first Humans (Adam's descendants) to walk on this Earth. That's God's Truth Scripturally, scientifically, historically, genetically and mathematically. Amen?

Please explain why you believe it was our February, let alone the 17th day of that month. When we do not know that year or its day of the week.

Oh, this is just Eileen again, She is locked in on the flood starting on February 17th:

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

    but what calendar?

777, assuming that the second month was Iyar, there are some other things that I didn't know until I started seeing if the commentaries named a Jewish month since Moses was way before the current calendar in the USA. It turns out that the Ark floated 150 days, and Scripture says that it was on the 17th of the 2nd month until the 17th of the 7th month, meaning that there were 12 months of 30 days. In other words, the Flood was so catastrophic that it altered the orbit of the earth from 360 days as originally intended to 365.25 days, although there are some extra minutes on there and sooner or later a day will have to be accounted for of the orbit of the earth will not reflect the time-keeping system.

This is explained more properly by the Institute of Creation Research but it goes to the curse from Adam and Eve as well as the destruction of all sinners and all animals except those on the Ark and amplifies the horrible effects of sin:

The fact that Genesis uses here a pre-intercalationary calendar is a most important indication of its antiquity. Had Genesis been written during or after the Jewish exile in Babylon or Persia (6th-5th centuries BC), as modernists claim, it would have used the intercalationary calendar of Babylon and Persia, which, like the Jewish calendar, would certainly not have measured five months as 150 days.

Besides, the post-exilic Jews always named the months after the Babylonian fashion and would have used those names in any "edited" account. Genesis doesn't. It merely numbers the months in accordance with pre-Babylonian usage. Illustrated above is an Assyrian lunar calendar (which names the months) from circa 1800 BC. It still works, but measures the post-Flood lunar year as 354 days. The Flood account in Genesis pre-dates its manufacture.

In other words, this part of Genesis was written before the effects of the Flood--the sudden slippage between lunar and solar time and so on--began to be observed and measured.2 Thus, the calendar portrayed in its first chapters is a further evidence of the antiquity of Genesis.

The Calendar and the Antiquity of Genesis

What could happen to change Earth's orbit? Its angular momentum is vast, and just like a spinning gyroscope is hard to adjust, the earth's motion resists change. It would take a mighty force to alter it.

The Bible does speak of such an event. Without giving all the details it indicates that the great Flood of Noah's day forever altered Earth's systems. If Earth's orbit has changed, this is when it happened. With the fountains of the great deep relocating a huge volume of liquid, moving continents, possible asteroid bombardment, etc., shifting the location of much mass, the length of the day, the length of the year, and the tilt of the axis could have all changed. We don't have the details as to precise amounts or forces involved, but at least we have certain knowledge of an event capable of doing the job.

In the Early Earth, Were All the Months Exactly Thirty Days Long?

Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

The expanse or canopy of the firmament began to open, letting in the water which totally surrounded Adam's first Heaven. Genesis 1:6-8 The first rain started falling onto the top of the Ark which Noah had made. It rained for forty days and nights and began to fill the bottom of Adam's firmament with water and after 40 days, the flood lifted the 450 ft long Ark from the ground. Gen 7:17 The bottom of Adam's firmament remains today at the bottom of Lake Van, Turkey, in the mountains of Ararat. That's God's Truth of Genesis. It's proof of God..

False conclusion. You have confused the present world with Adam's world which was totally destroyed in the flood. It's the world (Greek-Kosmos) that THEN WAS according to 2 Peter 3:6. The present Earth is covered with water and it will never sink and has NEVER been destroyed in a Global Flood. Your view is easily refuted. The present Heavens and Earth will be burned. 2 Peter 3:10
