That was an unbelievable ending to the Notre Dame game . . .

How could Michigan State blow that game? Probably the best hope to keep Notre Dame out of a BCS bowl is for USC to beat them badly in LA.

I guess you did not see the play . . .

You expect a 'hail mary' to work once in awhile.

I expect this will be on youtube or something soon.

What do you mean by that? There was no "Hail Mary" pass; there was a "Hell Stanton!"

I'm a Michigan State alumnus and have for far too long watched the incredable talent that the Spartans have of grasping defeat out of the jaws of victory.

    That said, Go State!

since Notre Dame has less than six losses, shouldn't they be #1?

I turned off the game for a while to do some reading that needed to get done. I turned it on so I could watch the last few minutes before I went to bed. It was right before ND scored the go ahead TD. I couldn't believe it. Made me wonder what would happen if I turned off the chiefs and did some reading :)

Guys y'all are going to kick me! I watched most all the game but dozed off during that last few minutes. They were down by 13 or 16 but had just intercepted and scored. I perked up to see but that was it for me. I asked my father-in-law about it the next morning and he told me they had won! Could not believe it! Great comeback!

It was just a long day for us, lol.

    Take care, Ralph

I think you're mistaking them for Florida State or Miami. They have to have 6 losses to drop in the polls. It only takes 5 for Notre Dame.

Did anyone else see the interception?

I saw more of the game at the end than realized. Saw #83 squeeze it into the corner with an excellent play. Missed the next TD pass, but perked up for the interception TD. I did not realize they took the lead with it. Then again:sleep:

    Thanks, El Guero

You know, the NFL game is now so boring I hardly ever watch, and it's getting so that it's the same on the college level.

Football is the perfect advertiser's sport, because most of the time, nothing is happening.

But it's getting harder and harder to care.

I don't think any game will ever outdo the Texas - USC game last year.
