What will be the result of the Congressional Elections in the House and Senate?

Here is my view, after months of detailed study, analysis, and great political insight, but primarily by wetting my finger and putting it in the wind.

Senate R = 53, D = 47 (including two false flag independents)
House R = 230, D = 172

Looks about right to me.

Yes, because according to the Dems, to cry foul is to attack Democracy! One possible reason for their "Democracy is at stake" mantra is immunization against those objecting to their manufacturing bogus votes. They seem to be revealing themselves as petty thugs.

I think you're being a little too "conservative" with regards to the Senate but I know you're wrong about the House - what about the other seats?

They will get a majority - rcp has it at 228 R 174 D with 33 tossups - 218 gives a majority. Now, they have the Senate at 54-46 as of today:

RealClearPolitics - 2022 Election Maps - Battle for the Senate 2022

dunno, PA still seems shaky to me but there is an outside chance for that RINO to win in Colorado and I have seen a lot of support for Tiffany here against that dimwit Patty Murray. I will think about it, the House is a given and probably 55-45 in the Senate. Dems will get killed on the state level even worse.

Lets see, I had the Senate at 53 R, you have it at 55R. That is fairly close.
I had the House at 230 R and you have it ???.

Repubs win 389 seats in the house and 64 seats in the Senate.

In a surprise move, the repubs elect Mike Pence to serve as speaker of the house. Shortly thereafter, Biden announces he is resigning to run for President of China.

As she is being sworn in as POTUS, Harris falls into an uncontrollable laughing fit that lasts 2 1/2 months.

Pence, with great humility recognizing God has chosen him to be POTUS and is sworn in. Nikki Haley becomes VP.

Trump convinced Pence to let him serve as a special ambassador to North Korea and brings peace and reunification to Korea.

Trump then serves as special ambassador to Russia, bringing an end to the conflict with Ukraine and Russia agreeing to remove all troops from Ukrainian territory and recognizing its borders, even Crimea.

Dems claim this proves Russia helped Trump steal 2016 election and attempt to impeach Pence for appointing Trump.

Putin is given the Nobel peace prize shortly after his death from cancer.

peace to you

well, I was just wondering where you had those other votes - are you saying the House will end up with 225 D or did you just compute it to a R majority and stop there?

Not very good here at House predictions, too many seats in areas I don't know well, but I'd guess 250 R, 195 D.

Code Red:

Red Mirage = Dems control Senate

Red Ripple = RINOs control Senate with 51-52 seats

Red Wave = MAGA conrols Senate with 53-54 seats

Red Tsunami = MAGA controls Senate with 55-56 seats.

Total number of House seats = 435

Seats need to have majority control = 218

If Republicans hold 230 seats then Dems would control 205, even though some might claim to be Independents, or Green or whatever.

I just voted here in Fort Worth in a traditionally VERY Republican polling station.

Given all of the emphasis for Republicans to vote on Election Day instead of early voting, I am wondering if Republican voters are showing up today, given all of the wild projections that Republicans are going to sweep the elections.

Of course, they could have voting early, and Texas is not considered a swing state, but the results could be interesting.

If Democrats do well, you can bet that Republican leaders in Texas are going to claim fraud.

They might do it anyway.

You aren’t paying attention. The Dems have been claiming the repubs are going to steal the election for several weeks now, which they do every cycle.

I suspect voters are fired up over CRT, Drag Queen story time, Covid shut downs, inflation, gas prices and the non stop lies coming from the left.

Dems will claim victory if they lose anything less than 40 seats in house and three in Senate.

peace to you

Why're you wondering that? Republicans are catching on big time to 'early voting'. I did so Friday and it literally was standing room only. My Republican uncle up in the mountains texted me to say he tried to vote early on Friday but there were no parking spaces, so he had to vote early on Saturday.

If the Republicans win the Senate seat in Nevada, then they need to also win in Arizona or Georgia. Arizona would be a surprise, but the run-off in Georgia seems possible.

Even now, the margin of Republican victory in the house is not clear. We certainly had a "Red Mirage" because the Dems will control the Senate, and the Republican lead in the House might reach 222, but more likely 220, a far cry from the 230 I predicted based on RCP polling and media hype. Nothing to say but "My bad!"
