Now, despite the fact that the following link is from a cult, the Worldwide Church of God, we think that the brief bit of extra they give on this section is worth reading, as it is a simple and straightforward historical commentary. The picture of the encampment also gives an idea of how enormous the Israelite encampment was. Please do not consider this cult anything but a cult, however.
