    Yes, I attended a very delightful far from boring production. I'm generally not a fan of CHaikovsky, though.

    PastorSBC1303, you made me laugh!! [​IMG]

    About 8 or 9 years ago, our home school group was able to get $5.00 box seats - yes, just $5.00!!!! - at a San Francisco Ballet performance of the Nutcracker at the Opera House. It was thrilling. We've seen it there 3 or 4 times. Our favorite scene has always been watching the tree grow. I don't know if every live performance includes that but the SF ones always did. My favorite ballet, however, is Swan Lake, but I will stop before I put Pastor SBC to sleep!! :D [​IMG]

    When my wife lived in Oakland, Ca., her grandmother took her to the Nutcracker in San Francisco every year when she was a little girl.

    Our youngest son started collecting the Nutcracker figures when he was a lad, he collected the ones made in Germany. They are pricey, but they are high quality. When he got married and moved away he took them with him.

    Nope, saw it last year. Because the holiday season is pretty busy, I must limit the theater I see. This year, the whle family and I went to see a very popular annual Christmas pageant at a large local church in the area.

    Oh, and I own two nutcrackers, btw.

    My wife forced me to attend. I requested that she never do so again. (Yes, here in rural Alaska, we still have the Nutcracker.)
