    Obama Climate Czarina Was Member of Socialist Group's Environmental Commission

    Czarina is another socialist for the Obama team. This will bring about more senseless rules and regulations for industry that will hurt the economic growth and competitiveness of our nation for the sake of foolish notions about the environment. Obama will have to build ten times as many roads to make up for the damage that will be caused by this Czarina of Global Warming and Green Peace!

    I think I heard today on the news that PM Tony Blair was a member of that same group. Funny thing, Bush (R) just gave him the medal of freedom award.

    Yeah, we all know how well Republican, pro-big business, anti-worker, deregulation has worked, don't we. The fundamentals of the economy are strong. :sleeping_2:

    Let's not detract from the root cause of the current economic crisis which was the social re-engineering of the home mortgage industry by Democrats like Roosevelt, Carter, and Clinton leaning to high risk loans that were not being repaid in turn leading to failed lenders in turn leading to much tighter credit for otherwise sound borrowers. The failure of the Republicans like Bush is the panic response to bail out the financial institutions leading to a general decrease in public confidence. As always, the innocent individuals and businesses have to pick up the tab for the losers and hogs lined up for hand outs.

    Get ready for alot more environmental hijinks from the new administration.

    As our spanking new Secretary of State said recently, "Global warming may ignite new wars!"

    Or, as former Clinton official Timothy Wirth once put it, "What we've got to do is to ride the global warming issue... Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, approach it as if it is real".

    Or...as former Canadian Minister of the Environment Christine Stewart said, "No matter if the science is phony, climate change provides the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world."

    It's going to be an interesting 4 years
