Obama Lays Plans to Kill Expectations After Election Victory

Barack Obama's senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week's election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters are harboring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve. The sudden financial crisis and the prospect of a deep and painful recession have increased the urgency inside the Obama team to bring people down to earth, after a campaign in which his soaring rhetoric and promises of "hope" and "change" are now confronted with the reality of a stricken economy. One senior adviser told The Times that the first few weeks of the transition, immediately after the election, were critical, "so there's not a vast mood swing from exhilaration and euphoria to despair." The aide said that Obama himself was the first to realize that expectations risked being inflated. http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/31/obama-lays-plans-kill-expectations-election-victory/

If he gets elected, that's actually good news. For the last 4 years we have a republican that spent and acted like a democrat. Maybe we will end up with a democrat that spends and acts like a republican.

Intentional and persistent deception purely to get elected.

Who knows what he'll do if elected.

Only 3 things are certain.

He'll raise taxes for everyone that currently pays taxes.

He'll appoint judges who decide cases according to who the participants are instead of according to the Constitution.

He will lie to and deceive his fawning worshipers whenever he needs to to get his way, just like now.

First those making less than 250,000 will get tax breaks then 200,000 then 1500000 and now he wants to down play what he can do if he were to get int the whitehouse. He is a racist liar!

I should have added a fourth.

He will practice race based politics and set the cause of racial equality back by decades, just as affirmative action has.

Thanks for reminding me.

Obama knew from day one his promises were not possible. Backtracking before election, that is a new record. There is something very evil about this individual. Maybe God will have mercy on us one more time and change the hearts of enough voters over the weekend to rid the USA of this leech.

He will also work to silence dissenting views. Barry along with the dims in congress will seek to implement the fairness doctrine and destroy talk radio (I will be looking into subscribing to XM radio in January).

Anyone who questions Barry's policies could find themselves investigated by governmental authorities. For proof, look a Samuel "Joe the Plumber"Wurzelbacher.

That is becoming more apparent every day.
And increasingly being purposefully ignored every day!!

Liberalism is a fatal disease, as our nation just might find out fer sure come post Jan 20!:tear:

'Course by then it'll be too late for the obedient minions to recant for other than repentance purposes.

Candidates don't like to say we can't do much because the last President and his party destroyed the economy. Presidents have to take a more realistic approach (unless they're George Bush).

Why not kill expectations? His tax policies will kill initiative, acheivement, and hard work. His welfare policies will kill self-reliance. An ol' fashioned killin' spree.

Not that you care but you have this all twisted.

He will not raise your taxes if you make less than $250K

He will cut your taxes if you make less than $200K

IOW, the taxes of those who make between $250K and $200K won't change.

This has been consistent message since he began running in the primaries.

And McCain will be different how???

That guy is getting down right desperate with the promises he's making these days.

I'm sure business owners will just "absorb the blow" themselves and hire more folks...

I don't see why, in this climate, Obama doesn't get that taxing these folks is going to further slow down the economy?

Was listening to the Mark Levin Show tonight (what a great show, only one better is Rush) and heard an audio clip of a female supporter of Barry. She stated that after after Barry was elected, she would never have to worry about paying for the fuel to run her car or pay her mortgageagain. She said people like her took care of Barry by electing him and he'll take care of them after taking the oath of office.

Barry better get to work on killing those expectations now. When reality hits these people, they will be in need of some serious couch time. Why has the belief that government will take care of people, become so commonplace in dimocrat constituencies?

The Marxist must be defeated for the sake of freedom and liberty.

Excuse me. I did not twist anything. That came from the Obama camp themselves. Take it up with them.
