Obama to skip Scalia's funeral


President Barack Obama is preparing for a fierce battle with the Senate over the Supreme Court vacancy, but he’s not planning to attend Justice Antonin Scalia’s funeral — a decision that puzzled even some of his allies and incensed conservative media.

"If we want to reduce partisanship, we can start by honoring great public servants who we disagree with," Obama's former "car czar" Steven Rattner tweeted with a link to a headline about Obama skipping the funeral.

Wonder why the approach with this isn't "reserve judgment until we got all the details" as he and political conservatives kept saying with the police shooting videos?

Obama is boycotting the funeral because Scalia offends the gay and lesbian community, staunch supporters of the Democrat Party. Gays are already attacking Scalia and have joined Obama in denigrating Scalia even before he is buried.

I don't believe the GOP will let Obama slip in a SCOTUS judge during his crippled (oops I meant lame) duck year.

Why? Because of what the Dems did to Robert Bork.

Obama is too political to go to a funeral of a conservative. He said that he is not going. The Democrats, led by the gays, may even picket the funeral. You saw the social media explode with vile comments--Obama has to do what the Democrats want.
