This is a series on sermon audio a friend sent me. I have listed to a couple and they have been excellent.

"Of God's Decree," PART 1:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...D= 1907182517
This is the first of several in a series on 'God's Decree' (i.e., predestination). In this lesson a study is done on the various terms used in Scripture that refer to God's sovereign decree. Also the distinction between the decretive (secret) will of God and the preceptive (revealed) will of God is considered, along with some practical cautions associated with that distinction.

"Of God's Decree," PART 2:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...D= 1150715264
This is the second lesson of several dealing with the doctrine of God's Decree. In this lesson seven characteristics of God's decree are considered.

"Of God's Decree," PART 3:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...D= 1220715754
This is part 3 of several studies on God's Decree (predestination). In this lesson the Fact of Election and the Context of Election are considered.

"Of God's Decree," PART 4:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...D= 1290717162
This is Part 4 of a series of lessons on Chapter 3 of the confession regarding God's Decree. In this lesson the 'Unconditionality of Election' is considered, and the 'foreknowledge' or 'pre-scient' view is refuted.

"Of God's Decree," PART 5:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...D= 2507205547
This lesson is one of several of the study of God's Decree. Here the doctrine of election is considered - specifically the Results of Election, the Assurance of Election, and the Purpose of Election.

"Of God's Decree," PART 6:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...= 21307174837
This lesson deals with the subject of reprobation. What it is and what it is not.

"Of God's Decree," PART 7:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...= 22007121924
The doctrine of God's decree (predestination) is being considered - and specifically some of the objections/questions that have been raised over the centuries. A time of question/answers follow - only the answers are recorded.

"Of God's Decree," PART 8:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...D= 2270717435
This lesson deals with two objections that have been raised against the doctrine of predestination: (1) Doesn't the doctrine of predestination turn man into a robot? And (2) Doesn't the doctrine of predestination lead to laziness, disobedience, and irresponsibility?

"Of God's Decree," PART 9:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...D= 3507183319
In this lesson certain objections relating to the doctrine of predestination are considered - namely, those having to do with evangelism.

"Of God's Decree," PART 10:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...= 31307173832
In this lesson certain objections relating to the doctrine of predestination and election are considered. Namely, those objections having to do with various 'proof texts' in Scripture.

"Of God's Decree," PART 11:
http://sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...= 31907204136
This is the final lesson on Chapter 3 of the confession having to do with God's Decree. In this lesson the doctrines of predestination and election are applied.

I jumped right to the last one and so far I've only listened to about 5 minutes of it. Those were pretty good minutes. He talks about how a proper understanding of predestination/election produces praise, humility, etc.

He also states (as some of us have stated in various ways, repeatedly) that salvation is all of God. If man thinks he adds anything whatsoever to the process of salvation even to the tiniest degree (read: free-will choice), he robs God of some of the glory.

Amen to that.
