    Nashville, long a center of Baptist work, has been invaded by "Baptist Infidelity." Just follow this link and take a look around:

    <http://www.glendalebaptist.org/>

    Well did Jude prophesy of such when he said,

    "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."

    And Paul when he said,

    "having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof; from such turn away."

    Mark,
    What is wrong? What's your point? I briefly scanned the posted website; I did not find anything wrong. Enlighten me.

    Terry,

    Examine the link about "RDWT." If that doesn't clear things up, go to the Alliance of Baptists (http://www.allianceofbaptists.org/resources.htm) web-site and read up on "RDWT" and some of the other Alliance materials

    Mark O,
    I am sorry, I am dense, I am missing what you are talking about? I am not familiar with this Alliance, so maybe that is the problem... Is it the look at gender equity? Is it the curriculum that is obviously a hybred of a bunch that is prossibly not Biblical? Sorry I am missing it.

    This is probably what Mark is referring to. It was listed on their site.

    During the month of March, education for adults and youth will focus on Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, a resource about churches and homosexuality jointly published by the Alliance of Baptists and the Baptist Peace Fellowship.

    I didn't read anything else about what they will be learning about homosexuality and the church, but if it's anything other than the fact that it's an abomination, then I would tend to agree with Marks view of them.

    Mark (from Iowa), The Alliance of Baptists is the denomination through whom I have my chaplaincy endorsement and is one of our church's national affiliations. As a body, it is explicitly welcoming and affirming of homosexual Christians. Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth is an excellent resource, but not one that many here would choose for their churches.

    Mark,

    The Alliance is a group of disgruntled and perverse Southern Baptists and former Southern Baptists who have embraced the sodomite movement.
