DOJ Says Census to be Printed Without Citizenship Question–As Poll Released Shows Supermajority of Americans Support Question

"...The Left won, Americans lost on the issue of the federal government being able to ask if people in the United States are citizens as part of the constitutionally mandated decennial census. The Justice Department sent out an email to opposing counsel Tuesday announcing the decision to print the census questionnaire without the citizenship question following a defeat by the Supreme Court last week.

Also on Tuesday, a poll was released showing a supermajority of Americans–including a majority of Democrats–support having the question on the census.

Obama administration lawyer Daniel Jacobson announced the decision....."

The swamp does not respond to the will of the American people. After 2024 the Dems will probably destroy the USA once and for all. They don't like the bill of rights and the UK does not have a bill of rights even though we told them in 1791.

So, some of the people making the laws that you and I follow will essentially represent people who are not citizens of the U.S.

Hm. That almost sounds like taxation without representation. Last time that happened there was mass riots, shootings of red coats and civil unrest.

I say all Americans should refuse to participate in the census. Dont let them count you, that way you cancel out illegals being counted. I only participate in American Censuses that count American citizens.

And i ain't fixing to pay no fine neither. My census questionnaire for my family was unfortunately eaten by my chickens, turkeys and hogs. Kind of like how my guns were sadly lost in a bad boating accident.

You know, you are right. These illegals have come here and are only here for our welfare. If Paraguay had big welfare checks every month to anyone in the world who moved to Paraguay, then all of these illegals would be telling us adios. They are not part of the country and should not be part of the census except as illegals.

Think of it. Free medical, housing, clothing, welfare, food stamps beyond anything your native country has to offer.

your children learn English, are educated beyond 90% of your native citizens and will soon be awarded citizenship no questions asked except ARE YOU A DREAMER and will you VOTE FOR US?

Live in a city where you are guaranteed NO ARRESTS for illegal entry and A DRIVER'S LICENSE (if you will vote for us).

True, some American citizens (and yes even some VETERANS) live in tents AND ON STREETS LITTERED WITH HUMAN WASTE but you need not worry you are safe.

Like President Trump says "I don't blame you, I blame our politicians".

And i personally am ready to admit that there is a great contradiction between the US (wealthiest nation on earth) and MEXICO (one of the poorest on earth) BORDERING EACH OTHER and that i could have done more.

At the end of the movie Schindler's List, Schindler weeps as he holds his 22k gold NAZI insignia, "I could have done more, I could have sold this and saved another life"... i have supported children through World Vision but "I could have done more, much more..."

None of us is worthy no matter if we save a million lives, so why don't we stop pointing fingers and do whats best for everyone involved?

STOP making it Democrat against Republican and vice versa.

OH we might have to stop buying votes.

HankD, there's much truth to what you said. However, I do take issue with this. At some point, it should become apparent that the mentality of its populace, and its type of government, dictate how much anyone could help another country. Canada has done just fine. So, too, the USA.

Many legal immigrants have managed just fine in those two countries. Mexico and many other countries south of the border took a different route and had a different outcome. Just pumping money into a situation solves nothing. There must be real changes that cannot be effected from outside.

So then, back to the main point of the thread. The desire to change the demography of the US to capture more ignorant voters is a wicked scheme whose success could only result in a nation more closely resembling the poorer nations to the south. The freedoms of the USA are foreign to them, and will be lost on them, and thus through them. But then, they are already being lost on a great many citizens now, who seem unable to understand how any of them were secured to begin with, or what they are for when you have them.

It is not only wicked, it is illegal for illegal aliens to vote.

The Democrat party has become a criminal enterprise.

Mexico is rich at the top. Corruption is so widespread. The ruling class is pure Spanish and the Indians and half-breeds are at the bottom with little in the middle. The RCC is communist and gay in Latin America.

True, the corrupted government of Mexico could have been worked on and Yes and it would have helped to clean up our own corruption before trying to remove the beam from our southern neighbor's eye.

Our legalized abortion no doubt is a shame and a disgrace to a Catholic nation like Mexico.

Their brand of Catholicism may be a more than a significant part of the problem down there, Communist/Socialist at its core. And coming here to vote Democrat will not help the abortion problem in America. Again, it cannot be effected from outside. But I would love for our left to leave for Mexico and fix it from within. At the very least, it would help relieve much of the problem here.

Or as has been suggested by some that each "left" American household receive a needy family from "south of the border" to nurture, house, cloth, feed provide education, etc...

IOW put your money where your mouth is...

But this would never fix the problems south of us, which would mean bringing ever more in.

However, the hypocrites have no intention of getting their own hands dirty, thus none will be housing and feeding these needy themselves. They imagine the government can do it, and is supposed to. They can rationalize but cannot reason.

LOL it would solve the problem because there would be no volunteers to share their goods:)
No, because...

They will continue to volunteer everyone BUT themselves and never see any hypocrisy in it whatsoever. THAT is the problem.

Now, if you were to force them to house and feed these illegals in their own homes, perhaps their whole house of cards would collapse quite quickly.

AG Bill Barr Says He’s Found a Way to Get the Citizenship Question on the Census

"....In a visit to South Carolina today, U.S. Attorney General William Barr said to expect the administration will present a legal path work-around that will allow a question on citizenship to be added to the 2020 Census.

Speaking to reporters after visiting a federal prison, Barr said “I think over the next day or two you’ll see what approach we’re taking and I think it does provide a pathway for getting the question on the Census.”

What that path is he won’t say just yet, but we should know tomorrow what he’s proposing.

Some have speculated that there’s an executive order coming that could bypass some of the requirements of the administration procedures act. Other’s have said it’s as simple as just being upfront about the most logical reason to include the question and re-submitting to the lower court. Namely, that the constitution pretty clearly did not intend for non-taxed illegal aliens to count toward the apportionment of Congressional members and that it’s necessary to find out numbers on citizens, legal residents (who would count toward apportionment), and illegal aliens.

While the media thinks that’s a taboo thing to for the administration to say, the polling doesn’t back that up, as I covered earlier today (read the full write up on new polling that shows Trump winning on major issues)."
