While someone else might try to use the heat wave news that way, I really don’t think the author of the article is pushing any agenda other than that, according to weather experts, people need to be particularly cautious. From the article: “The seven-day heat wave, which the NWS said occurs approximately once every 33 years, began in New York on Saturday.”

Let me tell you, there were three years during the Great Depression in Indianapolis where the temperatures were over 100 degrees day after day. This does not hold a candle to that heat wave.
