Old vs new

Lets take two TV shows:

2) Roseanne (TV Series 1988–2018) - IMDb


1) A tv show where Dad was responsible, children obeyed mom and day,
all went thru trials but had positive end results

2) Dad was not the leader of the mom - parents were smart alechs,
kids were brats, had no morals, ect.

Some will Say that Father Knows Best was not realistic as most home were not that perfect
They would say that Rosanne was realistic and told it the way it was.


Do agree with that thinking-

Would we be better off if we went back to the Father Knows best Days?
