    It is amazingly similar to “Newspeak” from the book 1984.

    The goal was to consistently reduce the language to as few words as possible in order to control the population and make them unable to communicate ideas contrary to the state,

    I disagree with U.S. Representative Brownley. Of course, I pretty much disagree with just about everything that elected officials introduce in the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate, regardless of political party.
