Online education is unbiblical

The school's health insurance policy is probably cheap since intervenous medications and injections are abiblical.:BangHead:

Ugggh... what a cop out for not having an on-line program.

Some people say that you can prove any personal belief using the bible - this school shows it is possible.

I am trustee chairman at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Kentucky. MSU offers online courses, but they are not impersonal. At the other end is a professor who interacts with his on-line students.

I can't find computers or the internet in the Bible, nor telephones. I'm taking the position that unless they are specifically prohibited, I'm free to use them.

I'm not going to read the link, but I wonder which verse of the Bible tells us about the internet, let alone seminaries,....let alone online seminaries?

I'm surprised! Don't you have your latest revised Roman Catholic bible.....its chock full of revisions & additions coming out of Rome. They can do that you know! :D

In my email inbox recently:

Matt,

Hope all is well! I left you a voicemail about our Tuition-Free Starter Class starting in May. It is a great opportunity for you to experience our academic scholarship and on-line format for an awesome price...Free! The information regarding the class can be found in the link below. Thanks.

Starter Class:

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Over a year ago I expressed some interest in Knox. Since then they have consistently /frequently both called and emailed me. They've also been using Facebook a great deal to market the seminary. They, along with other institutions, are learning that there is massive amounts of revenue available to schools that make an online/distance option available.

I know the critics would be quick to say that institutions seeking to equip Christian servants/ministers shouldn't be revenue driven, but the reality is if they don't get it, they die.

At least, according to Beeson (and the article they dubbed this from): http://www.beesondivinity.com/abiblicalpatternfortheologicaleducation

I have what appears to be a Russian (I think Baptist) church in my neighborhood...but its
Hard to get close to them. They meet for services in an arminian Baptist church right after their services. They do not speak English in service but they are growing where the americanchurch is floundering. Is there sometipe of movement among the Baptists for Russians or do you think there independents?

:applause: I was thinking the same thing.
Just like I told my sister when she discovered the church I was attending had a bus. I see no verse anywhere that says thou shalt not have a church bus.
