Creator God Ordained:
Genesis 1:11-12 (KJV)
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:24-25 (KJV)
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Here, we see God creating plants, flowers, animals, mammals, fish, whales, etc., and ordained that these creatures mate and have offspring "after their/his kind," meaning horses mate with horses and have more horses "after their kind." A rabbit cannot mate with a whale and have offspring. Nor a cat with a donkey to have offspring. The same is ordained of the man and the woman.
In Trinity, God contemplated a people made in His image. However, I do not hold that Adam was made in God's image. God is not of the earth:
1 Corinthians 15:47 (KJV)
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
I prefer that the image of God is the Son. There is no better image of a Father than a Son. We are, as Covenant, being conformed into the image of Christ, not Adam, and if you will, "after His kind."
In Trinity, before God created heaven, earth, and man, God contemplated a people in His Mind. He contemplated this people as saved, holy, righteous, sin-less people for that is the only way God can contemplate us - His Elect, and He wrote our predestined names in a "book" of life (of the lamb slain...)
Then, God began to create.
I believe God had contemplated His Elect as "sheep." We were always "sheep." We are not born into the world as "goats," live unsaved as "goats," and then are called of God, become saved, and now we are "sheep." This would violate the ordained "after his kind" declaration of God in creation. We were always "sheep." Nor are we born into the world (unsaved in TIME) and our father is "the Devil" (Jn. 8:44), then we become born again and now our Father is God, for this, too, violates the created order set by God.
Although without bodies in the Mind of God when He contemplated His Elect, one of the purposes of God in creating the universe and all that is in it was so that He may take us out of His Mind, blow us, His Elect, into the loins of the first man (earthy), and in the process of TIME be born into the world, and at the appointed TIME be born-again, and then in the near future, change our bodies in the twinkle-twinkle of His eye into a body (and bodies) that can exist back into Trinity from whence we were first contemplated. All God is doing in TIME is, as with the Son, preparing bodies to go with those names in the "book" of life of the lamb slain....
We were contemplated as "sheep," born into the world as "sheep," and when we become born again become "sheep" as Christ has ever been our Shepherd from [BEFORE] the foundation (creation) of the world. We were always His sons and daughters for that is how He contemplated us, His Elect. The Prodigal son begun as a son and ended as a son - even as he was wallowing in the slop. God ordained "after his kind," and there is no way to change it. Once a son, always a son.
Think about it.
