Original Dead Sea Scrolls

It is quite fascinating to know and learn about the history of the Bible's translations. And I wanted to also have a glimpse of the original dead sea scrolls or the bible manuscripts. Most of the dead sea scrolls are preserved in the British Library, and the others are in other libraries. Guys do you know if these other libraries are in Britain too? or in other countries?

Israel holds most of them.
They are exhibited in a uniquely constructed building called the Shrine of the Book.

Once in a while they allow a few of them to be exhibited in other countries.
There was a tour in the U.S. not that long ago where I was able to view some of them.

Nice - thank you for sharing. I will look into the link now. :) I will get back to you for further inquiries.

The "display" Dead Sea Scrolls visible for tourists is a copy. In the catacombs of the building is the precious original.

BTW, for the new year every 2-3 years, I choose a different translation of the Bible to read for personal devotions. Some good, some bad, some ugly. A few years ago I used the Dead Sea Scrolls. Was that an interesting and enlightening adventure. I'd encourage reading/study of it.

That is interesting. What did you use to read them?
