What you said ("to stay saved") makes no sense to me. If there is no works there is no faith. If one is genuinely saved there is works that follow. A genuine, saving faith produces good works. Good works do not save anyone. One who is saved will show evidence of that in their faith in Jesus which is exhibited by good works. Good works is the proof of their faith. Faith without works is dead. A creedal faith is dead. A creedal faith is nothing more than words on a page. A genuine saving faith is alive and has life.
In other words, it is the fruit of your salvation. :love2:
